Show Shawn Ann Taylor PANGUITCH - Shawn Ann Taylor completed her earthly journey jour-ney on May 14, 1999, following a two and one half year battle with c,ancer. She passed on at home, while being held in the arms of her husband who lovingly cared for her. She was born May 15, 1966 in San Diego, Calif., a daughter of Richard Vincent and Christine Delight Townsend Hague. ! She spent her early years in Southern California, then her family fam-ily moved to Las Vegas, Nev., when she was 12. She developed friendships that have lasted her whole life. She was a volunteer eandy striper, all star softball player, played the flute in her high school band and was very active in her church. She graduated from Basic High School in Henderson, Nev. Shawn received her Associates Associ-ates degree from Ricks College in Rexburg, Ida. She went on to receive re-ceive her Bachelors Degree in Education Edu-cation from Southern Utah University Univer-sity in Cedar City. She. was hard working which she demonstrated by putting herself through school by working as a waitress and department store clerk. Since receiving her degree, she has lovingly and whole heartedly been teaching children in Panguitch. As a substitute teacher, she taught kids of all ages. Since 1996, she taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. She truly loved being able to share with oth- ers, whether it was in the classroom or in her home. She loved to serve, and has left behind so many friends to whom she showed her love by serving them. Shawn married Vearl Jeff Taylor in the St. George LDS Temple on May 2, 1987. She is as member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her love of the gospel led her to serve valiantly in her callings as a member of the Primary Presidency, the Young . . ..' "4'."'' -, . LaFaun Hatch Pollock TROPIC - Funeral Services for LaFaun Pollock were held Thursday, Thurs-day, May 13 at in the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Scott Barton officiating. A family prayer was offered by Don Hatch, a brother. Prelude and postlude music was provided by Cheri Feltner and Luana Riddle. Rob Veater, a son-in-law, gave the invocation, followed by a musical musi-cal selection "I Often Go Walking" by grandchildren Seth, Shanae' and Lishell Jackson. Tributes were offered by granddaughter grand-daughter Ora LaFaun Bamhurst and daughter LaFaun Marie Barnson, followed by a musical selection "I'll Walk With You" by granddaughter grand-daughter Jentry Barnson, accompanied accompa-nied by Lesa Pollock, a daughter-in-law. Speakers were friends Floriene Barney, Rella Alvey and Betty Wintch, and remarks were made by bishop Scott Barton. Nieces La Priel Wilson, Lela Rae King, Lydia Cutler, Rhonda Gant and Colleen Comp sang "Wandering Home", accompanied by Lesa Pollock. Son-in-law Kyle Barnson gave the benediction and dedication of the grave was offered by Mervin Bamhurst. Bam-hurst. Pallbearers were grandsons Seth Jackson, David Barnhurst, Brent Barnhurst, Kyler Barnson, David Veater, Dustin Veater, Derick Veater, Lance Pollock, Chase Pollock Pol-lock and Elder Lenny Pollock. Shawn Ann Taylor Womens Organization and the Relief Re-lief Society. She loved the gospel and especially loved to teach it. Her number one love was her family. She is preparing the way for her husband, Jeff, and children: Krystal, Bryce and Jace, to join her in their heavenly estate, as an eternal eter-nal family. She is also survived by her parents, Richard and Christine Hague and her brothers, James, Joseph, Richard and Ryan Hague, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; and her parents-in-law: Max and Betty D. Ellett Taylor of Willow, Alaska. She was preceded in death by her still born daughter, Conine. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21, 1999 at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch LDS Stake Center, 550 South 100 West, Panguitch. Friends and family may express their love for Shawn and her family at a viewing to be held on Thursday, Thurs-day, May 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the services, both at the Panguitch Stake Center. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina. Flower girls were the granddaughters. grand-daughters. Honorary pallbearers were Greg Pollock, Gordon Pollock, Mervin Barnhurst, Kyle Barnson, Rob Veater, Dorr Hatch Sr., Orland Ruesch, Russell Wright, Adrian Pollock and Jack Pollock. Interment was in the Tropic Cemetery. Compassionate services were offered of-fered by the Tropic LDS Ward Relief Re-lief Society sisters. Funeral directors: direc-tors: Neal S.
