Show New Services ProvidedBy Phone Company ESCALANTE South Central Communications is now able to offer its residential and business customers some of the latest technology techn-ology available. Additional messaging messa-ging features have been added as part of the recent upgrade of the Escalante-based company's switching switch-ing system. In addition to standard voice mail features, the new equipment allows new messaging features, including: Direct Dial, multi-user mailbox, broadcast messaging, group messaging, oper-ator revert, automatic callback, and Constant Touch. "The addition of the new voice mail services is another step toward accomplishing our company's goal", said Keith1 Fullmer, marketing mar-keting director. ' Ne want to provide pro-vide our custom 's with reliable, quality phone se ice and with the most recent telecommunication services available." Subscribers using the current voice mail system will be switched to the new system in early June. South Central Communications was organized in 1955 by residents wishing to bring telephone service to rural areas of Utah. The cooperative which began with only 110 subscribeLS, .now provides service to over 14,000 customers, with provide Internet access, and many special calling features. The company also has added digital wireless telephone service (PCS) and cable television in some areas. |
