The meeting is set for the Manzanita Room at Rubys Inn at Bryce at 6:30 p.m. Garkane board members will be in attendance and will hold a board meeting. Board members include Michael Blackburn, Bick-nell, Bick-nell, president; George Blackburn, Black-burn, Fremont; LaDon Torgerson, Koosharem; Marjie Lee Spencer, Escalante; William "Bill" Nelson, Nel-son, Cannonville; David Skou-gaard, Skou-gaard, Duck Creek Village; Terry Griffith, Orderville; and Nolan Button, Kanab. Members will enjoy refresh- ments and conversation and watch videos while ballots are being counted by the Richfield accounting firm of Kimball and Roberts. A Garkane spokesman said those who may have lost their ballots, or who may not have already voted, or who may not remember if they have voted, may obtain a replacement ballot at the meeting or check at the meeting if their ballot has been received. Each ballot is checked off against the consumer's account ac-count number for accuracy of voting. The vote will decide by a yes or no response whether to move the company's headquarters from Richfield where it has been located for some 60 years to Garkane-owned property in Hatch which is more centrally located on the electrical cooperative's service system. The Richfield office is not located on the company's service system. |
