Show Ccnncnviite Hews By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 . Howard Leavitt Jr. and wife Annette An-nette of Kaysville spent last weekend week-end here visiting their parents, Howard Sr. and Dorothy Leavitt. Gloria Clark went to the Mt. Timpanogas LDS Temple with family members for the marriage of her grandson, Gary Syrett and Lu-ciene Lu-ciene Christensen. She attended the reception held in South Jordan to honor the newlyweds and was able to visit with her brothers and sisters and other relatives who live in the northern part of the state. Ron and Deene Baugh, Salt Lake City, spent the last two weekends week-ends visiting their mother, Gloria Clarke. They came for the reception recep-tion for Dana Baugh and her new husband James Courtright and again last weekend to attend the reception held at Ruby's Inn for Gary and Luciene Syrett. Beth Wogan and her brother, Lamar Elmer, made a trip to Jerome, Ida., to bring more of Beth's furniture here. We are happy to have them move back. Frank and Betty Bowman came from their home in Fredonia Ariz., to visit Bonnie Willis. (See CANNONVILLE on page 5-A) Cannonville News From page 2-A Desmond and Gretha Twitchell have moved home from St. George where they spent the winter working work-ing in the LDS Temple. They will still continue to go back down for their assignments on Saturdays through the summer. Vaughn and Mae Twitchell, Ar-jean Ar-jean and Cherlyn were joined by Doug and Tammy Twitchell and family and Carl and Lori Munford and family, of Cedar City, for an Easter picnic at Zion Canyon. They had a long trip home through Bear Valley in a bad snowstorm. Cherlyn Twitchell and Britt Twitchell were home from Southern South-ern Utah University for the weekend. week-end. A group of young people went four-wheeling in the beautiful country, coun-try, south of Cannonville. They reported a wonderful time and returned re-turned safely in time to pick up their dates and go to the Junior Prom. |
