Show Itenrisvilla Item By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 Spike Brown received word of the death of his grandmother Laura Fisher of Arroyo Grande, Calif., on Wednesday. She was 104 years old. He also received word that his brother had suffered a stroke. He will be going to California. Our best to Spike and Tootie. DeLoy Mecham and Lucille Mecham were in town from Delta visiting Lula Moore. John and Ann Barnett are home from Las Vegas, Nev., where John had surgery. His daughter was married, mar-ried, also. They will be attending the Miracle Mormon Pageant in Manti. Melba Smith has been here for a few days visiting a dear friend, Lula Moore. Klay Chynoweth, son of Klin and Nancy Chynoweth received his Eagle Scout award at a Court of Honor. Wade Moore received his Tenderfoot and Cody Mortensen received two merit badges. Congratulations Con-gratulations to the boys and their leaders. It was well attended. Mike Cheeney is here for a while at his home. He is a son-in-law of Katie Mortensen. Bob and Louise Patterson have special visitors: Bobs aunt, Mary Lou Jones of Laurelville, Oh., and sister Maryon Woods of Chillico-the, Chillico-the, Oh. Klin Chynoweth injured his back while working with cattle. We wish him a quick recovery. Speakers in LDS Sacrament meeting were Taryn Piatt, Terry Clark, and Wade, Ryan and Gayle Moore. The choir sang a special number. Esther Johnson was presented pre-sented her Young Women and Promise award. Laura Pierson of Panguitch visited vis-ited Logan Marx. Ernie and Wynona Henderson, along with Daryl and Mary Shum-way, Shum-way, LaMar and Ethel LeFevre, and Jim and Erma Clarke attended the State Lions Club Convention in Ogden. Ken and JoAnne Goulding spent a day in St. George for doctor appointments. ap-pointments.
