Show Chris Mathews Chris Mathews Receives Eagle HENRIEVILLE Chris Mathews, 15, will receive his Eagle Scout award in a ceremony on May 2, at 4 p.m. at Kodachrome State Park. Everyone is invited to attend. Stan Mecham, Tropic will be the principal speaker and Duztin Sorensen, Henrieville will perform a native indian dance honoring the Eagle, Scout. Other participants will be members of the Henrieville Troop committee. Mathews installed bear boxes at Lower Willow Bottoms for the Forest Service and the Fish and Game Department for his Eagle project. Chris has served as Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 665. His favorite badge he earned, under his Scoutmasterfather Cliff Mathews, was canoeing and Chris also enjoys trapping. Mathews is a son of Cliff and Collette Mathews, Henrieville. |
