Show Cqnnonvills Hews- By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Mae Twitchell reported Jhat everyone eve-ryone was at their house to celebrate cele-brate Thanksgiving. That everyone included Mr. and Mrs. Ron Twitchell, Tyler, Julie, Angie and her boyfriend, Alan; Craig Twitchell and his daughter, April; Mr. and Mrs. Doug Twitchell and family, Carl and Lori Munford. As part of their Thanksgiving tradition, they head for the hills to cut their Christmas trees. What a beautiful day to be out and about. Arjean Twitchell, daughter, Cherlyn and Brandon then joined the shoppers in Provo for the Christmas sales. Greg and Sabrina Hughes and family spent the day in Mesquite, visiting and eating dinner with his mother. The Reynolds family had many family members gathered around their table including Nick, Jewel and family; Cliff, Roanne and their two young children; Elaine and Susan and their families. Wayne couldn't make it because his wife recently had surgery. We all hope she has a quick recovery. Evelyn Heaton entertained Larry and his family from Orderville and Kay and Kevin Shakespear and family fam-ily from Tropic. Bob and Mira Loy Ott had to extend their table a bit to include thirty family members. Those gathered around were Bob Jo, Randi, Benton and Jody; Jeff and Heidi from Logan; Brandon and wife, Trish with their three children from Richfield; Lawrence and Tamers Tam-ers Aposhian and family from West Valley; Kowan and Melanie and family and Stacy and Angie and their two children from Bakersfield. At the Tom Shakespears were Todd, Crystal and family; Jeff, Tracy and daughter; Gaylynne and son and Kevin, Jeannie and Tammy Shakespear from Tropic. Bonnie Willis had several family fam-ily members to help eat turkey. These included Cornell, Kathryn and family of Orem; David, Lynn and family from Aurora; Richard, Andrea and family from Monroe; Jim and Stephanie Cline and daughter; daugh-ter; Steve, Louise and Earline from Zion Canyon. In addition to family members, Bonnie also entertained eight great-grandchildren. They spent the afternoon putting up Christmas lights and helping Bonnie Bon-nie decorate for Christmas. Alma and Anita Fletcher traveled trav-eled to St. George to spend Thanksgiving with family members Curtis and Pauline Hansen and family fam-ily and Scott and Erica Racker and family. Mark and June Spitz and son, Christopher of Jerome, Idaho visited vis-ited with Beth Wogan. She also had Jay and Nancy Peterson and daughter Misty from Spring City. Jim and Erma Clarke also had to add a few extensions to their table as thirty members of their family joined them for turkey. Those giving giv-ing thanks were Joe and Debra Salas and family; Kevin and Cheryl Garrett and family and Jim and Bertha Ber-tha Shelly and family. Wally and Kelly Lee brought Thanksgiving dinner over to Howard How-ard and Dorothy Leavitt's home as Dorothy was just released from the hospital. She states that she is feeling better but still isn't quite ready to celebrate any holidays yet. Marva Fletcher had Rex, Leslie and their family members Julie, Jaime, Jared, Jackie and friend James over for the holiday. They were sporting a new van which made traveling a lot more enjoyable. enjoy-able. Rosie came over for the holiday holi-day and took her mother to see the doctor as she wasn't feeling too well. Joe and Rae Hughes traveled to Panguitch and had dinner with their daughter, Maxine Veater and family. fam-ily. They also visited other family members along the way. Bishop Lawrence and Glenna Fletcher had all five of their sons, plus others gathered around their table. Mathew and wife, Cathy, Leon, Delon, Richard and Bryce. AC and Rita Hammer were also guests. After dinner and dishes, Bishop and Glenna left for a drive to Oklahoma City to get their granddaughter, Pamela, who is the daughter of Heman and Lynnae Ga-jardo. Ga-jardo. Lynnae is taking treatments in the hospital there. We all wish her well and the Fletchers a most safe trip. John Morreale returned form California in time to share Thanksgiving Thanks-giving dinner with his family. The Ben Matthews family hosted Thanksgiving dinner for family members. Their son Lloyd will be leaving for his LDS mission mis-sion soon. Many others in town were called to check on who was celebrating where and with whom, but no answer an-swer at many homes. Guess they are still out celebrating. Hope everyone eve-ryone had a great day and returns in safety. |
