(. i' . - ;4v' -": ?f- ';'- x SCvup . .- - .. . . -iS-- -!... . ..... .::- A large Christmas tree was erected on Monday afternoon at Zion's Bank in Panguitch with the help of workers Rob Veater, Kory Owens, and Dave Owens. The 30-foot tree, donated by Betty Cooper, lighted on Saturday, Dec 4, as part of PANGUITCH Santa Claus is coming to town, right now, this week. On Saturday evening Dec. 4, Santa will be on hand to kick off the Country Christmas in Panguitch Pan-guitch annual celebration. A Christmas Home Tour will actually begin the day from 1-4 p.m. as residents and visitors donate just $5 to tour five different specially spe-cially decorated homes in Panguitch. Pan-guitch. All proceeds from these tours will also go toward Sub for Santa needs. Tickets are available in advance from Sherrie Burningham and Collette Nay (at Security Title). Homes included in the tour this year are Dean and Virginia Englestead at 350 S. 100 E.; Kyle and Cindy Stewart at 485 S. 100 E.; Troy and Ann Marie Norris at 365 N. 200 E.; Travis and Lynn Hatch at 3275 N. Hwy 89 and Jody and Chris Davis at 196 E. Sage-wood Sage-wood Cr. More information on the Sub for Santa program can be obtained ob-tained by calling Elaine Baldwin at 676-2403. At 5:30 p.m. a Christmas Candle Can-dle Light Parade will take place. Participants should meet at the Blue Pines Motel at 5:15 p.m. The parade pa-rade will make it's way up Main street to Zions Bank with Joseph and Mary at the lead and Santa will bring up the rear of the parade. Carolers should dress warm and each bring a flashlight. The parade is sponsored by the Parent Teacher Organization and each class grade is encouraged to attend and participate. The class with the most carolers will win a wonderful pizza party. Additional information can be obtained ob-tained from Nan Singleton at 676-8568. Panguitch's Country Christmas celebration. Mac and Pat Oetting and Greg Payne were there to put the finishing touches on. Santa Claus will kick off the celebration featuring the Christmas Home tour and a Christmas Candlelight Parade. Panguitch Celebrates Country Christmas A Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony followed by caroling will take place at the Zions Bank parking lot with the assistance of the Panguitch High School chorus. Festivities will then move across the street to the Social Hall where from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Santa will visit with youngsters who have brought along their Christmas wish lists and a special program will be presented by Jackie Wilson and friends.
