Show Bryce Canyon News Supervisor Park Ranger Chuck Passck was presented a special achievement award from his previous previ-ous park employer, Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Bushkill, Penn. Chuck was given this award for his outstanding performance per-formance and numerous contributions contribu-tions to the Pennsylvania District operations in 1988. During his employment there, Chuck planned and supervised one special wildlife law enforcement operation and supervised su-pervised the Bushkill sub-districts agricultural permit monitoring program. He researched and arranged for the purchase of a new foampumper unit, greatly improving the district's dis-trict's fircfighting capabilities. He served on a National Park Service Hot Shot Crew for several weeks and worked as a crew boss in last year's fires. Management representatives represen-tatives praised Chuck on his professional pro-fessional and excellent manner in supervising the fee collection operation oper-ation and his patrol staff. Superintendent Bob Reynolds presented maintenance workers Molcy Johnson, Tom Richards, Gene Quiltcr and Kelly Shakcspcar, Park Ranger Ken Kerr and Ranger Bill Garman with a special edition book published by the National Forest Service. These books commemorate com-memorate the Yellowstone fire and all the contributions made by firefighters fire-fighters to control the fire. Ken Kerr has a new job at Dinosaur Di-nosaur National Monument in Utah and Colorado. Ken and his family will be leaving Bryce in November. Goodbye and good luck to our summer seasonal employees.
