Show Billy Keith Boger HENRIEVILLE Funeral services for Billy Keith Boger, 15, Henrieville, were held Friday, June 21, 1991 at the Henrieville LDS Ward Chapel. Officiating the services was , Bishop Robert Willis with the family prayer offered by Sandra Boger. Prelude and postlude music were rendered by Viola Rose and the invocation given by Shane Boger. Special speakers were Doug Clark, Tropic, and Frank Houston, Panguitch, former wrestling . coaches. The Henrieville LDS Ward choir performed a musical selection, followed by remarks by Bishop Robert Willis. Schoolmates and sisters of young Boger including Angelique . Boger, Jon Brown, Heath Piatt, Jessica Boger, Blythe Shewman, Joy Pollock and Brandy Markham sang a favorite musical selection "From A Distance." They were accompanied ac-companied by Cherri Feluier. Kris Boger the offered the benediction. Dedication of the grave was conducted by Edward Boger with Jon Brown, Shane Boger, Jeremiah Boger, Kris Boger, Mike Pollan and Heath Piatt as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers included Alex Lanham, Travis Shakespear, Clayton Johnson and Wade Pollock. Pol-lock. Interment was at the Henrieville Henrie-ville cemetery under the direction of Magleby & Sons Mortuary . with compassionate services for the family rendered by the Henrie-. Henrie-. ville LDS Ward Relief Society. Alston "Kay" Shakespeare Alston "Kay" Shakespeare, 36, died June 22, 1991 of cancer at the home of his sister in St. George. Kay was born May 29, 1955 in Panguitch to Alson Willis and Orvilla LeFevre Shakespeare. He married Elaine Reynolds on August Aug-ust 29, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nev. Shakespeare graduated from Bryce Valley High School in Tropic. He was employed for 13 years at Kaibab Industries and was a member of the LDS Curch. Kay loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed en-joyed spending time in the outdoors out-doors with family and friends. Elbert 'Bert" Barnhurst CEDAR CITY Elbert "Bert" William Barnhurst, 64, died June 23, 1991 at his home in Cedar City. He was born December 21, 1926 in LaVerkin, Utah to Orson H. and Maggie Sanders Barnhurst. In 1948 he married Lolita Calvert from whom he was later divorced. He married Verna Dut-ton Dut-ton Thorley November 3, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nev. Barnhurst worked as a truck driver for Reynolds Electric for 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, his family and the outdoors, and was a WWII veteran vet-eran having served in the US Army. He is survived by his wife of Cedar City; children, Phillip Reed Thorley and Mrs. Ronald (Linda) Dawson, both of Salt Lake City; Duane Barnhurst and David Barnhurst, Barn-hurst, both Lexington, S.C.; Bur-nell Bur-nell Thorley, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Randall (Carol) Smith, Brighton, Most of all, he loved playing with his boys. His survivors include his wife and two sons, Elaine Shakespeare and Luke and Lance Shakespeare, all Panguitch; parents of Tropic; and three sisters, Mrs. Keith (Ruth Mae) Hamp, Plain City, Mrs. Roland (Carren) Durfey, Lake-wood, Lake-wood, Calif., and Mrs. Steven (Barbara) Duke, of St. George. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 25 at noon. Interment Inter-ment was in the Panguitch Cemetery Ceme-tery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary. Mich.; Mrs. LaMont (Marilyn) Reddington, Fort Belvoir, Va.; and Mrs. Darren (Christy) Adair, Cedar City. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; three brothers and a . sister, Merlin Barnhurst and Shirley Wilhelm, both Hatch, Austin Barnhurst, Las Vegas, Nev. and Melvin Barnhurst of Mississippi. Missis-sippi. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the Hatch LDS Ward Friends and relatives may call to pay their respects re-spects on Thursday evening at Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City or on Friday at the chapel during dur-ing the hour preceding the services. Interment will be in Hatch Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary, Cedar City. |
