Show Beth Anderson Burr ESCALANTE Marion Beth Anderson Burr, 56, Escalante, beloved wife, sister, and aunt died Sunday, May 24, 1992 in a Salt Lake City hospital after a five year battle with cancer. She was born October 1, 1935 in Richfield to Alvin M. and Clara Snow Anderson. She attended school in Richfield and later college in Cedar City. A member of the LDS church, she married Bruce Burr in Richfield on March 29, 1957. She was employed em-ployed with the South Central Utah Telephone Association for 23 years and was the manager of Dixie State Bank in Escalante until her health dictated she retire in December 1991. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and being in the mountains and was a tremendous influence on many people. Her positive attitude about her illness was amazing to watch and a comfort to all. She was much loved and her companionship will be sorely missed. She is survived by her husband, Escalante, one sister and two brothers, broth-ers, Mrs. Kenneth (Joyce) Poulson, Pleasant Grove; Ray Anderson, Moab and Bud Anderson, Bear River Valley. v I ' S , ' ., - , -. 5 A .' i v ff:- " C v' Beth Anderson Burr Funeral services will be held today, to-day, May 28, 1992 at 11 a.m. at the Escalante 2nd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. under the direction of Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield. |
