Show By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Apparently there was an error in the column last week saying we won both games in Marysvale and should have said we lost both games! Sorry. Calvin and Barbara Gleave went to Provo to take his mother, Margaret Mar-garet to a specialist. She has been staying with her daughter, Julie, while dad Marcus is having rehab. Sunday LDS Sacrament meeting was a special day for Tim and Holly Westwood as they had their new baby boy blessed and named by his father. He was given the name of Carson Carl Westwood. Many of Holly's family, the Carl Heatons of Alton came, as well as Jane Westwood, the Shawn West-woods, West-woods, Cedar City and Jeri West-wood West-wood Kennedy of Marysvale. Tim's parents, the Roger West-woods West-woods of Circleville attended as well. Beverly Hansen was released as the Homemaking leader in Relief Society and Koami Delange was sustained as the new Homemaking leader. Barbara Schmidt came from Provo on the weekend and it seemed good to see her at LDS Sacrament meeting and to find out she is doing well. Jeremy Poll was advanced in the Priesthood to a Teacher and Riley Roberts was advanced to the office of a Priest on Sunday. Jimmy Stewart, who has been living in Nebraska, came to visit a few days with his parents, the Warner Stewarts. The Jack Durbins of Lake Havasu, Ariz, came here to their home on the weekend but left quickly to get ahead of the storm. The LDS Relief Society Home-making Home-making evening was held on Wednesday evening with a good crowd doing ceramics and quilting. A delicious potato bar was served to everyone. Mr. and Mrs. George Jolley traveled to Ferron, Utah to the funeral fu-neral for Farnum Young. |
