Show Henrieville LaRona Callahan spent a week in Salt Lake City helping her mother as she is selling her home. Mr. and Mrs. James Quilter of Riverton were here to visit brother Eugene Quilter. Lynn Foy has moved her trailer to Tropic where she and daughter Cheryl Thompson will live. Dennis Foy purchased a new trailer home. The youth activity this week was "Hymn and Her Panic Pit Stop" and everyone enjoyed the unusual activity and refreshments. The David Rose family reunion was held at Cedar City with three days of activity. Mr. and Mrs. Rob Adkins came from Idaho and Loreli and children stayed for a visit with relatives. Thora Partner had Mr. and Mrs. Bill Holms here for a two-week visit Mike Holms and Kriston Gill of Las Vegas were also here. Others here to visit her were daughters Louise Harrison, Provo, and Marilyn, Mari-lyn, Orem. Thora went back with Marilyn for a week's visit. Moyle Johnson took his parents Mr. and Mrs. Thorley Johnson to Bountiful where they visited with the David Stemers and met daughter Cynthia Johnson from Idaho for a visit. Peggy Boren and daughter visited here with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Irving Rose while her husband was in California fighting fire. Many friends and relatives attended at-tended military graveside funeral services for Thorald Goulding held here. Conducting the services was his brother Calvin Goulding. Brothers Burt Goulding and LaVar Goulding also took part along with brother-in-law Ernest Maes, with the military portion conducted by his son Captain Guy Vincent Maes and nephew Airman Rick Maes. Music was provided by sister-in-law Ann Goulding and niece Lauralee Sorenson. The flag was presented to his mother Fawn Goulding. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Quilter took daughter Amanda to St. George where she had surgery on her feet. |
