Show FARM MEMORIES As I 1 sit in my city windows and look upon the towers I 1 think how dear my farm days were how dear those pleasant hours it I 1 think hink ot of how I 1 packed the water from the well upon the hill and how I 1 watched them float the logs down to the old sawmill saw mill how the bees were ever so busy around the blooming trees so sweet I 1 have wished tor for nothing better than the scent of the ripened wheat out in the orchard was my favorite spot 1 where I 1 could plainly see all the beauties in the wood that then surrounded me for not tar far away was a large blue mountain n where grew the wild flowers tl and opposite was a still higher peek resembling the city towers dut but as I 1 sat and studied them their beauties showed out so plain for halt half was covered with wild flowers and halt half with yellow grain As yet I 1 live in the city and its good enough for me but if I 1 had my pick again farm life atwould surely be and still there Is just one more thing thine defore before I 1 take my seat and this id have you all to know that farm life cant be beat nina evans corinne Cort utah |
