Show By Harriet Priska "If the wind would stop blowing, blow-ing, maybe I could think." This thought has likely been on the minds of asthma sufferers, mothers with a kitchen full of kids because it's too gusty to send them out, and all the rest of us who are tired of fighting the dust, dried out gardens, gar-dens, and general discomfort. Hopefully by the time you read this it will have stopped. (Hope, hope!) Glen Brooks from Albuquerque, Albu-querque, N.M. paid a surprise visit to cousin Arlis Brooks. They had never met and spent the afternoon enjoying Melba's delicious freshly baked bread, apricot jam, and reminiscing. Be sure and drop by Canyon Country and see the lovely quilt Jana Lee Bernardo made to help raise money for son Heath's upcoming trip to Australia and New Zealand. Bill and Carolyn Bowmar enjoyed en-joyed a visit with Bill's cousin Don and Laura Schlesser of Turlock, Calif. Wanlcss Alvey is here for the summer staying with daughter, Chlorcne Vidrine. His sister, Mary Swain and her two daughters were recently here from Payson. Bill and Chlorene's two sons and daughter-in-laws, Marty and Debbie Vidrine and Greg and Rachel Vidrine were also here from Salt Lake City. Win and Carol Bayer of Tucson, Tuc-son, Ariz., paid a surprise visit to Harriet and Phillip Priska. They were charmed by the scenery. |
