Show By Ella Adair Visiting with the Wallace Otts was daughter Marilyn Murdock from Maryland. Amplus LeFevre spent a few days visiting in Monroe with her son Weldon LeFevre. Price and Darlene Allred and Ethel LeFevre were in Cedar City on business. Ora Brinkerhoff was an overnight guest at the Link Chynowcth home in Escalante. Some Tropic people wonder if it is spring or winter just around the corner. It is unusual on April 25 to see a snow storm in Tropic. Clark LeFevre was an overnight visitor at the LaMar LeFevre home. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hughes have a new baby girl born April 22 in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Mecham are the proud grandparents in Tropic. The Lloyd LeFevres visited the Layne LeFevres and Viva Mecham. Also visiting with Viva were Ar-lene Ar-lene and Oscar Larson, Delia Dee Larson, Marilyn and Wallace Heaps of Hatch and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Riggs of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Mecham visited the Lowell Mechams. The program and fashion show presented by the- Bryce Valley Drill Team this past Wednesday was very well done. Fifty-four years of prom dresses 1937 to 1991 were modeled, ranging in price from $25 to over $900 as Keela Mangum announced the models and the owners of the dresses. Much hard work and preparation went into the show. |
