Show fifth ward mutual play well presented A packed house bouse greeted the fifth ward mutual dramatic company at the ward hall last ni night in its presentation of the three act comedy drama A poor married man alan the matinee was also well attended the audience last evening was very appreciative and liberal in its applause the various characters in the play were ably impersonated persona ted as follows francis peterson as john B D wise a poor married man florence christensen as lona iona ford his ruether mother in law ladino ladine larsen as zole zoie daughter of lona iona ford emma as june julie wife of the poor married man james fischb fishburn urn as billie blake a college student don thompson as jupiter a negro servant 0 G loveland as dr graham junes father the able presentation of this comedy drama was just another example of the ability of home talent to please a large audience and the members of the cast are to be commended for the splendid effort the old folks and widows of the ward were honored guests at the performance and the committee in charge of this arrangement andrew jensen carl isaacson and mrs H Us H mifflin wish to thank the of the ward for this courtesy the honored guests numbering eighteen enjoyed tile the play immensely and were loud in their praise of the comedy drama |
