Show New Volunteer Group Starts PANGUITCH - Organization of a volunteer group made up of both men and women is underway in Panguitch for the newly opened Garfield County Long-Term Care Center according to Assistant Administrator Dennis Moser. The volunteer group is being chartered in association with the Pink Ladies. Moser encourages anyone in the area who is over 14 years old to join. Volunteers will help residents with reading, taking walks, or simply just talking with them for company. They will be able to help organize groups to come and entertain or simply entertain residents themselves through music, skits, comedy, etc. Volunteers 50 or over are eligible for the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP), which offer people benefits like insurance, travel reimbursement, and recognition recogni-tion banquets. The Pink Ladies is a longstanding long-standing organization whose members mem-bers have volunteered time and money to the building of the care center.
