Show Hatch Happenings Velma Huntington Effel Riggs visited Thora Porter in Cedar City. They accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Campbell, St. George to Nephi to visit Thalia Mickelson. They all went to the Provo LDS temple. Then Mr. and Mrs. Kay Alexander, Salt Lake City; Ray Burrows, North Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Riggs met Mrs. Riggs and her family at Thalia Mickelsens in Nephi where they celebrated Effel Riggs' 91st birthday a few weeks early. Sunday morning Noreen Evans rushed her husband Lynn to the Garfield Memorial Hospital for tests. That evening he underwent major surgery. Visiting the Darol Allreds were Mr. and Mrs. Mark Ross, Elsinore and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Johnson, Mesa, Ariz. The Allreds visited in Beaver with the Fred Houstons. Visiting Velma Huntington were the Kelly Dixes, St. George enroute to Salt Lake City where Kelley went for medical tests on this back. Saturday Ileta Dix and Steven Dix, Panguitch visited at the Hun-tingtons. Vic Gordon, have for a few days from his job visited with his family. Sunday Layton Barney accompanied him to Marysvale, Calif, to help him move his equipment to Burbank where he has a job remodeling the chapel, .ere. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Barney visited in Springville with Mr. and Mrs. Shennan Cameron. Mr. and Mrs. David Sawyer visited their family in Cedar City, Saturday; Jeff Sawyer and Eric Sawyer came home with them to visit over the weekend. Grandparents of the Scott Turek's baby are the Vincent Tureks rather than the E.H. Tureks as reported in last weeks column. |
