Show Shop, Ag Teachers Meet In Panguitch Sessions A week-long summer workshop for shop and agriculture teachers is being held this week at Panguitch High School. Participants are learning all aspects of metal fabrication and are constructing a 16-foot gooseneck stock trailer. The course is offered for credit through the Utah State Agricultural Education Department and was arranged by PHS instructor Jack Soper. Ten adult shop teachers are taking part in the course and come from high schools as far north as Springville and as far south as Hurricane. Conducting the classes which run Ten high school shop and agriculture teachers from towns as far north as Springville and south to Hurricane, eight hours a day is Dr. Pat Pruitt of Utah State University in Logan. The experience of shop teachers participating reaches from those with only one year to 30-year veterans. The workshops are held alternately in northern and southern Utah. The trailer being constructed has already been sold. The class project was advertised and a bid to purchase made which covered the cost of the materials.
