Show 9 EMTs Answer Six Calls During Week Garfield County Emergency Medical Technicians responded to six calls for assistance during the past week according to operations officer Bob McCullough. On June 1 at 12:20 a.m., a tour bus operator from Phoenix, Ariz, was transported from the scene of a fire at Rubys Inn to Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch by EMTs Neil Foster, Kay Loringer and Carolyn Barker. On June 1 at 12 noon, Rhoda Schein, Rockaway, New Jersey was transported from Bryce Canyon Lodge to Garfield Memorial Hospital by Karleen Muir, Alfred Foster and Mike Muir. On June 3, the Bryce Valley Unit responded to an early morning call for assistance at the Roy Willis residence in Cannonville with EMTs Joe Thompson and Pat Lutes on duty. On June 5 at 9:12 a.m., Connie Allen was transported from the Bryce Valley Clinic in Cannonville to Garfield Memorial Hospital by EMTs Pat Lutes, Olva Munson, Pat Shakespear and Carolyn Barker. On June 5 at 11:45 a.m., infant Henrie was transported from Garfield Memorial Hospital to Life Flight at Panguitch airport by EMTs Peg Bagnell and Betty Frandsen and the Life Flight crew. On June 5 at 5:55 p.m., Hassia Keller, Tel Aviv, Israel was tran-sported from Bryce Canyon Lodge to Garfield Memorial Hospital by EMTs Mike Muir and Dan Martin. |
