Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair Maurene Mangum attended meetings in Salt Lake City. Leola Ott went to Spanish Fork with her and visited with her daughter Gail. Stan and Louise Ott, Rella Alvey and Janet Pollock attended funeral services in Salt Lake City for a cousin. Ora Brinkerhoff accompanied her son Raymond to Salt Lake City to see his wife and son leave for Germany. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Littlefield were in Las Vegas, Nv. to visit her father, who was injured in an accident. Margie Beed took niece Kim to Las Vegas to get her automobile. Roland Bee went to Idaho to attend his sister's golden wedding. Malen and Sara Littlefield are in St. George this week doing temple work. The Earl Jolleys went to St. George last week. Marilyn and Mert Murdock visited the Wallace Otts. Sisters Irene and Sandra visited them. The Murdocks reside in Maryland. Jerry Moon and her family are new residents in Tropic. She pur-chaed the Swapp home. Jesse Shakespear, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keven Shakespear, is in the Garfield Memorial Hospital. Stake Conference will be held in Escalante Sunday. There will be no meetings in Tropic. Chase W. Pollock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pollock, was given his name and blessing in sacrament meeting by his father who was assisted by his two grandfathers, a great grandfather and uncle. The David Pollocks are new members of the ward. Bob R. Sudweeks was ordained a deacon. The Herman Pollocks visited their sons in Orem. Ora Brinkerhoff and Amplus LeFevre visited the LaMar Shakespeare, Springdale The Charley Wintches had a visit from their grandson, Joel Wells. Mary Ott was in Toquerville to help daughter Kathy take care of her boy who was ill. Ruth Baugh and Keela Mangum were in Provo. The Paul Mangums attended a friend's wedding in Beaver. Lynn Allen visited his mother Truie. The Bryce Valley Senior Citizens will have a Thanksgiving dinner party on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Reservations must be made no later than Nov. 16, with Oscar Willis, Clele Fletcher, Ella Adair or Orvilla Shakespear. |
