Show Police Probe Vandalism Panguitch City police this week investigated a report of vandalism at the Panguitch cemetery. The damage appeared to have been caused by livestock breaking through fences, getting into the cemetery and turning over grave markers. Cemetery board members remind residents that such damage has been a recurring problem over a long period of time and people can help by remembering to close gates and watch their livestock. Police said that citations will be issued if incidents continue and that some 15 different headstones had been damage by introducing livestock in the most recent incident. Cemetery board members are Earl Row, Louise Engelstead and Art Crosby. Panguitch City Police and cemetery board members both seek an end to property damage to local graveyard asking that livestock owners keep better surveillance of animals to prevent destruction as pictured here. |
