Show Final Drawing Gives Gifts to Residents The last in a series of pre-Christmas drawings, sponsored by the Panguitch Chamber of Commerce was capped off when a Panguitch man held the winning ticket for the grand prize. Steve McEwen had just arrived in Panguitch the previous night with his wife and children to spend the Christmas holidays with his parents. Fortunately for him he had saved his Christmas shopping until the last minute and the shopping he did with the Panguitch merchants who sponsored the contest really paid off for him. McEwen won a 15 cubic foot freezer, complete with a pork, all butchered and wrapped. McEwen and his wife, Leslie, along with two sons, have been living in Elko, Nev., where he is employed by Pacific West Exploration. Forty nine other lucky winners took home prizes in the same drawing to add to the Christmas spirit that prevailed and were glad that they had supported the'"shop at home" campaign of the Panguitch merchants who donated the (Continued on Page 6) Prizes Awarded in Final ) Pre -Christmas Drawing (Continued from Page 1) gifts which were given away for winning tickets participants had received when they did their shopping locally.
