Show Area Obituaries William Kent Henderson CANNONVILLE William Kent Henderson, 54, Cannonville, died March 20, 1980, in a Salt Lake City hospital. He was born November 28, 1925, Cannonville, to Parley Harris and Evaline Elmer Henderson. He married Imaogene Henderson, later divorced. He married Virginia Caffall, Feb. 10, 1979 in Elko, Nev. s He was a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Army, employed as a security guard at Hercules. He moved to Cannonville in May of 1979. Survivors: Widow, Cannonville; son, Billy Gene Henderson, Muskogee, Okla.; stepson and stepdaughters, LeRoy John Schweppe, Provo; Mrs. Gary (Diane) Widerburg, Granger; Mrs. Lucinda Rodgers, Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; two brothers, three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Dutton, Cannonville; Melvin Henderson, Caldwell Idaho; Mrs. LaRae D. Kiesel, Mrs. ' Joyce Dutton, Conrad Henderson, all Jerome, Idaho. Funeral services were held Monday in the Cannonville LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Clele Fletcher officiating. Nick Reynolds offered the family prayer and Elva Clark played prelude and postlude music. Lark Reynolds offered the invocation. Speakers were Michael James Clarke and Elwood Eddy Jr. with remarks by Bishop Clele Fletcher. Music included two selections by the Cannonville Ward Choir and vocal solo by George Thompson. Joseph S. Thompson offered the benediction. Burial was in the Cannonville Cemetery with military rites by the honor guard of Dugway Proving Grounds and the Cannonville Ward scouts. Nick Reynolds offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Lyle Elmer, LaMar Elmer, Merwin Dunham, George Thompson, Gerald Stock and Dave Evans. Funeral directors: Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. John F. Chidcster, Jr. John F. Chidester Jr., 40r died March 25, 1980. lie was born April 1, 1939, Panguitch, to John F. and Kate Smith. Chidester. He married Mary Kathryn Henrie, Aug. 19, 1961, Panguitch. Survivors: widow, West Jordan; sons, daughter, John Kcllcy, James Keith, Mrs. Michael (Jacqueline) Gurske, all West Jordan; parents, Grantsville; brothers, sisters, Dan, Grantsville; Mrs. Jerald (Tanya) Henrie, Carlin, Nev.; Mrs. Rodger (Beth) Foisy, Grand Junction, Colo.; Trent, Layton. Graveside services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Panguitch City Cemetery. Friends may call Friday between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Panguitch LDS Stake Center. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Cancer Society in his name. Funeral directors: Neal S. Magleby and sons Mortuary, Richfield. CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our heartfelt love and appreciation to all those who so kindly helped during the death and funeral for our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. To those who brought food to the home, the beautiful flowers, for those who helped with the funeral services and for the lovely luncheon served following the service by the 2nd Ward Relief Society we are so appreciative.
