Show Klin It. Lee Elmo U. Lee, 66. died Feb. 13, 1979 in Salt Lake City. He was born Oct. 7, 1912 in Panguitch to John II. and Ilhoda Worthen Lie. He married Artella Moore on May 17, 1934 at Junction. She died Oct. 29. 1978. He recently retired as a Hanger from the U.S. Forest Service for the Panguitch Lake District of Dixie National Forest. He w as a lifelong resident of Panguitch except the last few years which he spent in Kanab with his son. Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at the First and Second LDS Ward Chapel in Panguitch under the direction of Hishop Carl Farnsworth. Vee Worthen spoke at the services with prayers by Nello Ipson and Wallace Miller. Music included a song by The Cantilla Ladies; sang by Joseph Johnson with accompaniment by Irene McEwen. Bishop Farnsworth offered remarks. The grave was dedicated by Kenneth Hoberts. Pallbearers were: Mel Glazier, Cecil Orton, Jack Olson, Dill Moore, Bob Lee and Kevin Glazier. Burial was in Panguitch Cemetery under the direction of Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lee is survived by a son, Donald Elmo Lee, and a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Linda) Bartlett, both of Kanab; a sister, Mrs. Heed (Nita) Henderson, Cedar City; a brother, Dennis H. Lee, South Jordan, and five grandchildren.
