Show More Candidates File For Garfield County Positions Political activity flourished the last day as additional candidates filed for office in Garfield County. Filing deadline was Wednesday at 5 p.m. More candidates filed for office: W. D. Owens, (R) Panguitch, for assessor and Nile sawyer. Hatch School Board Precinct Five. School board members have to the last of June to file. Those previously filing for office were County Clerk Auditor, incumbent Edra Miller (D) Panguitch and Ferrell Brink erhoff (R) Tropic Running for two-year commissioner is incumbent, Wallace Ott, Tropic; James A. Thomas, Tropic and Ron Salerno, Henrieville. Three vie for Garfield County Sheriff's office: incumbent, Keith R. Fackrell (R) Panguitch; John P Trout. (R) Spry, and Thomas C. Jackson (R) Escalante.
