Two streams that crossed the valley floor, Through ditch, corral and flume, Soon nurtured unproductive land. And crops began to bloom. With horse-drawn wagon, Iron tired, You crossed the mountain West To mill the frosted wheat for flour, And deemed your efforts blest. Soon cattle grazed and ranches spread, Flocks thrived and gardens grew, Home Industries sustained your needs, . Shops, crafts and gristmill too.
