Show Around and About Boulder Mary Jane Coombs My two weeks stay with Mike and Wendy LeFevre and Ml chelle in Southern California was delightful with days warm enough that flowers were In bloom and the green shrub-, and trees were beautiful, Wendy felt much better but would have to take It easy until April. I appreciate and thank Mary Jane Coombs writing the news. I think she did a great job. Bruce and Donna Jean, Wilson were at tho Vandenburg Air Base in California then visited with friends in Los Angeles. They came home then went to Bountiful on business. Clifford Ridley h in Arizona on business. Vard and Mary Jane Coombs, Renon Peterson and family, Dot and Natalia Coombs all were In Panguitch. Blom Ormond's parents the Verge Heaps of St. George spent a few days at their home. Two of Blom's nephews Just left for the mission field, Lewis Heaps to New Zealand and Steven Heaps to Japan. Dee Moosman of Pleasant Grove recently had open heart surgery and Bud Ormond of American Fork were visitors at the Burns Ormond home. Leland Haws, Franklin Han-en, Jimmy Peterson, John Me lsenbach and others attended an Agriculture class taught by Grant Esplin at Escalante. Obe Wright a member'of the committee for the new hospital attended a meeting at Panguitch. Dora Wright's grandson Robert Reynolds broke his arm. Paul Hansen is sporting a new car. Vern and Emma Jane were in Sallna. Two men representing the Utah Power and water board ar In Boulder. Much land has been cleared. A crew Is Installing a sprinkler system at the old Lyman Ranch in upper Boulder. Stockmen are riding the winter range and checking- their cattle. Snow still covers the va. lley and a cold wind has been blowing. Merle Coombs gave a lecture on Old Mexico to the students in Iona Alvey's class Friday. |
