Show Hotch Happenings BY REVA LOWDER Mr. and Mrs. Bob Henderson left for Calif, to visit her mother, Mrs. Naomi Larsen, who Is ill. Ruth Wilson accompanied them as far as Las Vegas to visit relatives for a week. A shower was given Friday at the home of Theora Heap in honor of Mrs. Kerry Carpenter. Refreshments were served by Adell Riggs and Theora. Kerry and Lynn of Cedar visited the Bill Ducketts. Mrs. Lynn Evans went to Cedar Sunday and brought Lynn home from the hospital whero he has been several days after undergoing surgery. Weekend visitors .at the Evans home were the Delln Crofts of New Mexico, they all attended funeral services in Orderville on Saturday for Ed Croft. Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday were Leonard, Brad. Leslie, Elaine and Bishop Ivor Riggs; piano solo by Michelle Riggs. The C.B. Bush-mans of Pangultch visited at meeting. Kenneth Barnhurst and Kathy Orgill of BYU visited the Eric Barnhursts over the week end. A Deuel family reunion was held here over the weekend by the family of Hulda Deuel Spencer and the late Pete Deuel. Saturday a birthday dinner was held at a restaurant In honor of Mrs. Spencer. Hostesses were Idona Deuel and children Rose Elaine and Val Dean. Out of town guests were Mrs. Spencer, the Barton and the Verge Deuels of Mt. Pleasant, the Jay Deuels of Orem, the Kay Deuels of Tooele, the Tom Franks of Kearns. The Al Wilhelms of Las Vegas and the Bert Barnhursts of Cedar visited the Orson Barnhursts. Mrs. Vay Sawyer and girls and Mrs. Rose Huntington and baby of Kanab visited In town during the week. Cedar City visitors Friday were Gal and Dayne Wilcock, Carrie and Tanya Christian. The Don L. Ipsons of Bloom-lngton visited the Layton Barneys. The Lamond Davis family of Panguitch and the Hal Wilcock family of Cedar visited at the Gale Wilcock home. The Orlin Frehners went to Las Vegas for several days on business. Weekend visitors In town were the Grant Daltons of Delta, the Wayne Stubbs and the Dennis Daltons of Cedar, the Bruce Daltons of Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans ' visited in Tropic Sunday with the John Mechams. Marcle Dutton of St. George visited in town Monday, |
