Show ' pi" Panguitch News Ted Perkins li staying at the home of the Vera Lairds at 23 West Harris Avenue In Salt M Lake City recuperating from the major surgery which he underwent at the Granger Hospital. Proud grandmother, Grace Young announces tho arrival of a grandson bora to Warren and Wanda Young at Salt Lake City. The boys now outnumber the girls 3 to 2 In the Warren Young family. Other grandparents are the Whitney B. Wrights. Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Stokes of Cedar City, came and took her mother Mrs. Fenella Sevy to Salt Lake City for a few days last week for a check up with her Doctor. While there Mrs. Sevy visited the Vincent D. Harding family (daughter Nina Beth). The Stokes attended a missionary farewell for Mr. Stokes nephew. Mrs. Sevy also spent a day visiting In Provo with her three sisters; Rho-ana Sargent, Martha Hatch and Ethel Watts before returning home on the 22nd. George and Thora Proctor took a trip down to Eldorado Canyon on the Colorado River and spent a few davs fishing and sight-seeing with her sister and husband the Ecks. Then they went on over to Las Vegas and visited her mother. Nora Pearson and sister and husband the McDonalds and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Hilda Cameron has been visiting in Phoenix with DuWayne and Ada Henrle. Dan and Karen Tebbs and children of vAlbuquerque visited Dan's parents Dan and Nedra Tebbs over the Washington birthday holiday week-end. Karen's mother Rula Houston came with them, but went on to Cedar City to visit with daughter, Dorothy and son Herman and families. Leadership Conference Garfield County School District Food Service Supervisor, Loralne Allen, returned from a statewide Food Service Leadership Conference. Supervisors from Utah's 40 school districts attended the convention at Fort Duchesne. The conference was hosted by the Utah State Board of Education's Division of School Food Services and was held on Feb. 23, 24, and 25. The conference is held annually to help keep all school district food service supervisors informed with respect to new programs ad Innovations within the food service field. |
