Emeron and Renon Peterson and daughter Cindy went to Phoenix Christmas day and flew from there to Orlando, Florida to be with son Jimmy, his wife Jolyn, and granddaughter Shana Peterson for the holidays. Raymond Shurtzleft by bus Wednesday to spend Christmas with his mother Jerry King and family at Phoenix. Melanie Roundy and Jeanie Meisenbach came from Rex-burg College and stayed at her parents, the Uvon Roundys. Then Jeanie and her brother, John, went to California to spend the holidays with their parents the John Meisenbachs. Anthony and Dot Coombs went to Richfield to shop leaving the grandchildren with Ariel and Fay Alvey. This week several parents came to see their children at the Deer Creek Growth center. The Primary sponsored the night before Christmas party for the children with a program and a real live Santa who gave presents to the wide-eyed children. Donald and Sherry Lee Morgan and family spent the holidays with her parents the Neta Poulsons. Bruce and Donna Jean Wilson and children are with her parents, the Lorln Moosmans for the Christmas holidays. LaRay Roundy came Christmas eve to spend a few days with her sister Margie Griffin. Neal Henry Jepsen and Paul Hansen both came home for Christmas. Four days of rain and warm weather melted the snow which ran off the fields in streams. At higher elevations the ranches still have snow. The dirt roads are muddy and slick. |
