Show Around and About Boulder i BY LENORA LeFEVRE M Ward conference was held here Oct. ltth, Chase Shurtz, Malen Mecham, Lorell Munson and Dale Marsh of the Stake Presidency were present, with President Shurtz conducting. Clive Bybee, Stake Sunday School supt., Rula Spencer of the Stake Relief Society presidency, and Janet LeFevre, Stake Primary representative, came. 1& All gave good talks. J ty for Roger and Pat Wriksfc, 1 (coqUhm4 ImM) jj Boulder (continued from front sage) was held at the LeFevre patio Oct 10th. A large crowd gathered to wish them well. Ruby Myers brought her father Arthur Alvey back home. Alice Alvey went to Price to visit her sister and family. Jean Hansen took their niece Ceclel Naylor to Panguitch to catch the bus to Salt Lake City where she lives. Paul spent the weekend with bis parents, the Vern Hansens. LeFalr Hall went to Salt Lake on business. The Larry Davis' went to Provo. Kirk Lyman moved to Escalante to live. Dan Coleman was In Richfield on business. Coming to Boulder for business reasons were the John Meisenback and Paul Leak families of Calif.; Arrin and Hazel Moss; Lou Gardner of Venice; Fred Haynie, veterinary from Richfield. The Farlan Behunins, Neal Jepsens, Uvon Roundys, Dorothy Lyman, Larena Hall and Nina Moosman attended PTA meeting In Escalante Thursday. Larena Hall took Terry back to Pangultch for a check-up, he Is doing great. LeRay Roundy recently purchased the Charles Hugo trailer house which was moved to Cedar City from here, she and Max King will open an office. LeRay and Max visited with Larena Hall Sunday. Harold and Harriet Nutter visited In town. Mark Lyman came home for the weekend. Janice Peterson went to Cedar City this weekend. Dr. and Mrs. Standall went to Salt Lake this week. His rehabilitation program seems to be working out fine. A number of students went to Panguitch for IQ tests. The summer weather is gone and we have had gusty winds, promising clouds and a little rain. |
