Show Tropic Topics BY ELLA ADAIR A birthday dinner for Wanda Shakespear was held at the Darwin Shakespear home in Panguitch. Her son Kevin and Tom and family were also present. The Norm Littleflelds attended a football game in Cedar City Saturdy to see son Lanny play for SUSC. Their daughter Marie and family of Las Vegas were there also and visited with them for awhile. Ida Llttlefleld of Henderson, Nevada, Frances Leach and Nora Haycock of Salt Lake, Ella Bybee and Maud Hall held an annual sisters reunion last week. They visited at the Hall home and had dinner at Ruby's Inn. Herman and ZoraBell Pollock are home for the winter after spending the summer at Grand Canyon where he was employed by Union Pacific Co. Several out of town people were here for the wedding reception Saturday for Mr. and Mrs. Duane Stewart. His brothers Max of Orem and Glade of Calif, and their families were here with their par:nts for the weekend, Glade plans to stay for a week. Gregg Pollock was home for a few days for Layne's funeral. Vee Pollock visited his parents last week, Jimmy LeFevre Is visiting hU parents this week. Mr and Mrs. Leslie LeFevre visited their daughter Velma, sons Dale and Russell, and families last week. Thev went into Idaho to get acquainted with Russell's new baby boy. On the way home the back of their car received a few bumps and dents when an unidentified person drove his car Into them on the freeway. Having birthdays this week were Cheryl and Vard Shakespear, Malen Mecham, LaFaun and Geff Pollock, Jed LeFevre, Al Foster, Elaine Brown, Larry Smith, William Richards. Helena Francisco was horiw for the weekend. Sunday in Sacrament meeting Ricky Bybee, Kim Ott and Lyle J. LeFevre gave a report of their attendance at the BYU Youth Conference. Cornell Willis gave his mission report and Bonnie Willis gave a few remarks. Special organ number was played by Genevieve LeFevre. Verjean Clark and son of Las Vegas are visiting the Gene Chynoweths. The Seminary students will present a program In Sacrament meeting Sunday. Ethel Clarke and the DeVar Pollocks visited In town. John and Amy Garke visited the Lester Clarkes Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Llttlefleld are visiting at the Arnold Adair home. Lucille and Del ma- Nelson are staying with the Owen Shakespears until they get their home ready to move Into, they bought the Dean Dutton home. The Ellis Aliens visited In Pocatello, Idaho with their sister Susie, who had fallen and is In the hospital. Amplus LeFevre and Ora Brlnkerhoff were in Richfield on business Friday. Thelma Jolley Is In Cedar City with her daughter Alice Twitchell who Is recovering from surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Weldon LeFevre and daughter visited with Amplus LeFevre Saturday. |
