Show Hatch Happening BY REVA LOWDER Mrs. May Swapp, DeNoma, Terry, Bobble and Jane Mad-sen of Salt Lake City attended the reception in Milford for G. Bruce Dalton and Bonnie Bailey, then with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton spent the night at the Baileys then spent several days in Hatch visiting the Daltons and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Workman and Tommy of Sunnyslde, California, visited relatives a few days. The Vincent Tureks of Fremont, California, visited his folks, the E. F. Tureks last week. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Huntington spent several days in St. George with the Gam Hun-tlngtons. They attended Sacrament meeting In the Washington Ward whre Gam and family put on the program. Mervin Barnhurst was injured last week while working on his job for Garkane. He was taken to the Pangultch hospital for treatment and spent several days. The Roy Scotts of Salt Lake City visited during the week at the Eric Barnhursts. Saturday the Scotts and Barnhursts visited in Hurricane. Mrs. Abbie Fallls Is home after visiting her son Mark and family in Salt Lake City. Visiting her here are the Francis Simons family and the Floyd Simons family of McCammon, Idaho. Visiting the WUey Hunting-tons were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Huntlnton of Cedar. Reva Lowder and Laretta accompanied Mrs. Ron Rlggs of Pangultch Wednesday, Laretta went on to Fredonla with the Max Burrows and visited with them several days. Several of our local folks attended a wedding reception In Cedar Friday evening for one of our local boys who used to live here, Stevan Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Robertson, who wed Helen Kel-sey of Cedar. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans visited Sunday afternoon In Tropic and Cannonville. ' The Norman Hendersons of Kanab visited Saturday with the Bob Hendersons and the Gale Wilcocks. Visiting In Springville recently with the Sherman Camer-ons were Mrs. Lamar Barney and girls, Mrs. Dennis Dalton and Jennifer. Visiting the Lamar Barneys for several days were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Harper and two children of Fairfield, California.. The David Sawyers -visited Sunday In Tropic with the Roy Shakespeare. Ramon Porter went to Salt Lake City over the weekend and while there attended the Circus. Speakers In Sacrament meeting Sunday were Vincent Tur-ek. Dale Porter, Kenneth Barnhurst and Garth Workman. Mr. Kay Brown of Orem visited here over the weekend then took his family home after they had spent a week here with her mother, Mrs. J. E, Rlggs. Mr. and Mrs. Hilary Work-man of Blue Bell, Utah, brought Mrs. Ada Burrows home Saturday after she had visited them for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Nile Sawyer spent several days touring places of interest In Nevada in eluding Lehman Cave. Thursday Mrs. Sawyer, Georgia and Rodney Gunn visited in Cedar City. |
