Show Panguitch News Fay Ella Prince, Violet Robinson and Norma Talbot spent the weekend visiting family and friends In Salt Lake City. Pauline and Merle Prince of Chadron, Nebraska, and Arthur and Fern Sevy of Upland, Calif, joined them. Most of them joined Janice and Kay Bernson at the temple getting their work done. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Talbot and two children have moved from Ogden to St. George, Tom is employed by the telephone company. Mrs. Fenella Sevy returned home Monday after spending two weeks in Henderson, Nevada with son Doyle and family and daughter Mary and Dewey Adams and family, two weeks in Las Vegas with son Mark and family. Mark, wife and two sons took her to Salt Lake for a check up and to Provo to visit their son Jim who is attending BYU. They also visited their daughter Linda who is teaching in Granger. Mrs. Sevy visited her four sisters in Provo; Rhoana Sargent, Martha Hatch, Margaret Scott, and Ethel Watts. On the way home she spent two days in Cedar City with daughter Eva Dean and Nolan J. Stokes who brought her home. She said it was real cold in Nevada. Mat and Hazel. Houston and children Randy and Liz made a trip to Salt Lake City last weekend to attend the bless ing of their granddaughter by her father Tom Marshall; the little girl was given the name of Susan. They brought Marilyn Marshall back with them from Salt Lake and Cindy Tebbs returned from Logan with them. Herbert Worthen is staying with his daughter and family in Illinois. He would love to hear from home folks. The address is 780 Nottingham, Crystal Lake, Illinois. Kendall Brlnkerhoff, Steve Hatch and Erna Riggs left Wednesday for Salt Lake City where they will attend a two day training meeting of the Farmers Home Administration. Ema will bring her mother, Mrs. E. T. LeFevre home with her, Mrs. LeFevre has been visiting for two weeks with the Don Caldwells in the City. Jed and Verda Cooper are visiting in Panama with their son, Dr. Arthur Cooper and family. Douglas and Kathleen Tebbs of Bountiful brought their three children down here last Wednesday to stay with their grandparents, the Stanley D. Tebbs, while they made a trip to Las Vegas with friends. They came for the children on Saturday and visited overnight before returning home. Lola Farnsworth is here from Delta to visit her mother, Mrsi Elizbeth Orton, for a week. |
