On Feb. 18, Melanle Roundy and Juinn Griffin were speakers; that afternoon Franklin Hansen gave the In-service lesson. Diana Ridley gave a musical selection. On Feb. 17 Bishop Uvon Roundy, Cliford Ridley and Vard Coombs took Noel and Ronald Lyman, Claudia, Camilla and Wesley Roundy, Darlene Ridel, Rayola Moosman, Maudean Jepsen, Barabara and Vlckey Peck to the St. George temple were they were baptized for 608 persons. Alice Alvey spent a few days In Price with her sisters. Cleo Lyman is working with his brother Kent in Duchesne Co. The MIA officer served a banquet to young folks at the shu-rch house Feb. 13. The next day Primary officers and tea-chers gave the children a Valentine party. Neal and Fay Jepsen spent over a week with Alfred and Connie Jepsen at Fremont, Calif, and with their son Neal Henrie In San Franlsco; they will bring back a car they purchased from Alfred. Lorin and Uvala Moosman went to Provo when daughter Melba Mathew had a family dinner where all of their children and families came Leon, Ray L., Donna Jean Wilson: Donald and wife of Houston, Texas were not able to come. Max and Veda Behunln visited In St. George with the Le Roy Moosmans, the Scot McDonalds accompanied them and returne here for the weekend. Weekend visitors were Arthur and Mark Lyman at the Ivan Lymans, Dorothy Jean Alvey and children at the Heber Poulsons, Julie Christensen and friend of Cedar City, LeFair Hall, David Baldwin, George Murdock and his father. Kay and Merle Coombs attended a wedding reception at Venice for lha Douglas Pebbs. The Sam Crosbys spent a few days at their home here. Cindy Peterson spent the weekend with her mother Renon Peterson. Renon's relative Stewart Bailey is high score man In the state high schools. A number of fans went to Escalante for the ball game between Escalante and Valley on Monday. The Mac LeFevres, Uvon Rou-ndy and daughter, Arthur and Mark Lyman, the Truman Lymans went to Tropic for the ball game Feb. 16. Dora Wright, Blom Ormond and the Otto Haws were In Richfield on business. Bruce and Donna Wilson were la town. |
