Show Panguitch News Major .and Mrs. Gordon Henrie and four children stopped to visit his mother, Mrs. Nina Hacth, and grandmother, Mrs. Mary D. Sargent, and other friends and relatives over the past weekend while enroute from San Francisco to his new Air Force assignment at Seymour Johnson AFB In North Carolina. Medical patients in the hospital are Erma McGulre, Susa Walker, Wilford Roe, Rodney Frandsen, Garth Veater, Merrill Burrows. M. V. Hatch was able to go home a few days a-go. Mrs. Mayo Rlggs left Sunday to spend a week at Orem with George and Kay Cher rlngton; she will help take care of the children and the new baby as Kay has to spend the week in bed under doctor's orders. Cleta Cherring-ton has been giving a hand with tho children but was hospitalized with pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Vic Mlddleton and baby Ann made a business trip to Beaver on Monday, Alice Ipson spent ten days at Salt Lake buying merchandise for her shop and visiting her sister Reta Mae Lincoln who is now homo recuperating after major surgery. Ingra Richards also went up to see her sister Reta Mae, and she and Alice returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Nello Ipson and Boyd visited with Reta Mae over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Dickinson of Salt Lake City visited with his mother. Mrs. Lula Dickinson, and attended funeral services for Mr. Gass In Circle-vllle. Mrs. Dickinson got word from her wn Robert In Henderson that he was appointed first counselor In the Hinder-son 4th Ward In Nevada. Frank and Gwen Orton mad an overnight trip Saturday to Salt Lake to see the basketball games. They visited son Bob and family In the City and stopped off In Provo to visit Wally and Gloria Henrie and family. The North ward had a temple excursion in St. George last Friday. Wenda Sandin, A-mella Smith, Mamie Talbot and Clara Worthen attended the afternoon session. Attending the evening session were President and Mrs. Frank Orton, Bishop and Mrs. Kern Owens, Bishop and Mrs. Kendall Brln-kerhoff, Mr. and Mrs. Peter LeFevre, Merle Stowell, Norma Talbot, Celesta Talbot, Ralph Jefferson. Tom and Rea Dodds, Jim and Alta Yardley, also Leland and Berthene Griffin of Henrie-ville attended the Western Regional Convention for County Officers in Hawaii. Lynn Dickinson of Provo visited over the weekend with his daughter, Mrs. Helen Wright; he came to see his great granddaughter Cristy Henrie receive a blessing. Carrie and Delon Archibald of Layton visited with her sister Helen on Tuesday. There, were quite a few other people from out of town here to see little Cristy, daughter of Paul and Linda Henrie of Calif., receive her blessing; Cullen and Kay Holyoak of Cedar City, Pul and Lois Morgan of Clrclevlll, Harry J. and RoLayne Gardner of Salt Lake. The baby's grandparents are the Carvel Hen-lies and the Phil Dickinsons. Sherrie Orton, Marilyn Hen rle, Connie Barney, David Dodds and Birch Moore, accompanied by their class advisor, MUs Burdlck, made a trip to Salt Lake to get decorations (or the Jr. Class Prom. |
