Show Gertrude Ormond Buried at Boulder Gertrude Ormond, 68, of Boulder, died March 5 of natural causes. She was born March 22, 1902 in Escalante to Gcorgo and Ida Deuel Ormond. Her parents moved to Boulder when she was six. On April 23, 1921 she married Lester Moosman. They lived in Colllngston, Idaho thrco years where Lester worked on the railroad. They came back to Boulder and took up a homestead on Long Neck, which was later sold. They were divorced in 1933. With tho exception of one year, Gertrude cooked school lunch from 1935 unitl 1967. A proud woman of great courago and determination, she reared her children, built a house and a guest house. She was a second counselor in Relief Society, MIA secretary, and Ward Magazine Director. Survivors: sons, Ferrel and Dec (twins Darwin and Darrow who are both dead) ; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; 5 brothers, Carter, Raymond, Burns, Reed, and Bud; sister, Grace Barney. Funeral services were held in the Boulder ward chapel on March 9th.
