Show PIIS NEWS Post high school orientation on November 18 drew seniors from Pangultch, Bryce Valley, Escalante, nd Piute High schools. It was held in the Pangultch South ward church. Janell Miller, a senior, was named FFA Sweetheart at the Harvest Ball on November 17. Her attendants are Jackie So-per, a junior, and Cindy Taylor, a sophomore. To try out the girls had to perform in front of the student body and many friends at an assembly. Then, they had to milk a cow. Thursday, the Alumni scrimmaged the basketball team, the Alumni won, but they had their own refs. Now it is time for the annual Turkey Tournament. This Is a set of games played in two nights by former graduates of PHS. They divide into teams and play each other for the championship. The number of games held depends on number of participants. Games will be held Thursday and Friday evenings. On Friday, Nov. 24, the Pangultch Bobcats are having the first basketball game of the season. It's against the Parowan Rams, and will be held In Pangultch. They would like everyone to come out and support the team. Saturday ihe .Bobcats travel to Enterprise to play the Wolves. Good luck goes' with the Bobcats. |
