Show Cannonville News Notes VIOLET RAE HUGHES Larry Fletcher came for his family who spent a week here with his parents, the Aerial Fletchers Ada and George Thompson, and Melda Davis spent Monday in Cedar City. Mae Twitchell was in Cedar for the Shakes pearean Festival Monday night. I forgot the birthdays last week, they were Judy Mang-um, Christy and Kathy Ott. El mer Chestnut; this week it's Marlon Clark Budd Dutton. A week ago on Sunday the Doyle Clarks and the Fred Sy retts went on a trip through Boulder, Bull Frog, back up to Hanksville and Capital Reef. Myrtle and Angus Baldwin, Kaylene Llttlefield. Owen and Tammy Witt went to the race meet Saturday at Cedar City. The Ephriam Twitchell family came for the funeral of his brother at Antimony, they stayed with the Ira Elmers, and the Elmers went to Salt Lake so Ira could go Into the Veterans hospital on Monday: John Fletcher was home for the weekend with his friend Nedra. Julia Hall spent a couple of days with her mother Rachel Thompson The George Thompson and Tom Recce families went on a fishing trip before Ann and Tom went home to Indiana on Thursday. Inez Smith went back with them. Desmond TwltcheU's new pond broke out, it has a big hole in it Byron and Garda Davics went to Provo to see her mo ther who is ill after having a stroke. The Dar Smiths of St. Geo rge visited the Ctorge Thompsons and collected their son Gary who stayed for a week. Edgar and Lee Ida Dunham spent Monday in Richfield on business Maxine and I had eye appointments in Cedar City Mon day and went to St. George to see Charlotte. Joe went with us. The Dean Johnson family spent a few days at the Irving Johnson home. The Donald Heaton family is here on vacation at the Kendall Dutton home The Gerald Stocks visited at the Bert Stocks, they came for their son Alan Lorna Peterson and children are visiting with Fern Henderson. The Wayne Hendersons and grandson went home Thursday after spending a week with Al ta Henderson The Joe- Hugl.es family start ed out for St George Sunday and had a wreck on Cedar Mountain The Highway patrol took us Into Cedar City where we called Faye Ott and her son Gary brought us home He stopped In to see his grand father John Palmer Luckily no one was hurt |
