GEORGE - COOK Mr and Mrs. William Homer George of Salt Lake City, formerly of Escalante, announce the marriage of their daughter Sue Annette to Douglas K. Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Cook of Syracuse. The young couple exchanged vows June 21 In the Salt Lake LDS Temple, a reception followed at the Lion House, the wedding breakfast was at the Hotel Utah Skyroom. The bride graduated from the University of Utah and Is affiliated with a capella choir. The bridegroom graduated cum laude from Weber State College and from the U. of U. College of Law. HUMPHRIES - SAWYER Carta Humphries and LaVal Arnold Sawyer are to be wed on Friday, July 10, in the LDS Hurricane 4th Ward Chapel according to announcement made by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Humphries of Hurricane. Miss Humphries, a licensed practical nurse, works at the Velley View Hospital in Cedar City. Mr. Sawyer is a graduate of Pangultch High School. He attended BYU and served a mission to the West Central States Mr. Sawyer Is the son of Mr. and Mrs Arnold Sawyer of Hatch. Utah.
