Show THE WORD FROM BOULDER Our bazaar didn't turn out quite as well as expected. October doesn't seem to be the best time of the year to hold it. People who did attend enjoyed the chill supper, program, etc. The deer hunt hasn't been successful from what I've heard, even for local men who are well acquainted with the country. Byron Holiday from Calif, was taken to Panguitch where he had several stitches taken in his leg after he'd cut himself skinning out his deer. John Wilson, another Calif, hunter, died of a heart attack at the fot of the Mt. where he and several others were camped. This was his 7th year of hunting up here. Almost every Jamily in town has its share of flu. A (continued Inside) , BOULDER (Continued) few schol children have missed school. Nina Moosman's brother Irving Hancock came for an overnight visit at her home. My sister Wanda Munk and her husband came for several days. Pole Griffin came back from Las Vegas for another try for the big buck he didn't get last weekend. LaRena Hall Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hall and Christie Brandt of Salt Lake, the Elmo Halls and daughter of Teasdale, and Coombs Hall of Price at her home for a few days. Several families attended a conference in Escalante, the rest of us had a dozen of excuses why we didn't go. The weather has been warm and dry for several days. Leland Haws went to Panguitch for medical care last wek. Horace Hall spent a day buying hides. |
