Show HATCH Reva Lowder Speakers in Sunday Sacrament meeting were Karl Wilson and Mervin Barnhurst. A spe-ial number by Jo Anne Barney. Officers released were E. F. Turek, councelor in Sunday School; Julia Turek, chorister and Lucy Wilson, organist. El-dan Porter was sustained as ward chorister. Visitors at the meeting were the Vernon Hoi-mans, the H. Frank Ortons and the Frank Richards. Visitors at the Bob Evans home last week were the Don Munsons of Salt Lake, the Eddie Lidells of Ely, Nev.; Sun- day the Guy Evans of Pleasant Grove visited them. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Wilson have moved to St. George for the Winter. The Knowlton Littles visted the Kilburn Wilsons. The Sam Evans and son of New Castle visited here Saturday and Sunday. Afton Evans returned to New Castle with them for the winter. Weekend visitors here were Cal Burrows and Delten Campbell of Fredonia, Ed Turek of St. George, Carol Davis of Can-nonville, the Vay Sawyers, the Van Sawyers, Mr. and Mrs. Or-las Riggs of Kanab; Richard Wilson, Duard Riggs of Cedar City; Karl Lowder and Grant Dalton; the Gene. Wilson family of Cedar City. Visiting the Grant Daltons were Mary and Gertrude De-Ath of Arcadia, Calif, and Ada Griffin of Arizona. The Herbert Harris' and the Karl Dennis of Calif, visited in town last week. Visitors at Cedar City were Mr. and Mrs. Osmyn Deuel and Val Dean, Reva and Rell Lowder, and the Grant Daltons. Visiting the Oliver Hunting-tons were Mr. and Mrs. John Mecham of Tropic and the Pat Dix family of Panguitch. The Lamond Davis family of Panguitch visited the Gale Wil- cocks during the week. The Relief Society held a bazaar Friday night, they had many fine articles to sell also a lots of good things to eat; a fish pond was enjoyed by the younger folks. The Leon Sawyers have mov- . ed back to St. George. Merlin, Austin and Bert Barnhurst of Las Vegas visited the Orson Barnhursts. The Ronald Sawyers are having shingles and siding put on their home. Fireside chat was held after meeting Sunday at the Ivor Riggs home, Dale Porter acted as host. Richard Wilson talked and showed slides of his mission in South America. Mr. and Mrs. George Workman received word of a great grandson born to Clark and Mickey Bohne of Salt Lake. |
