Show NOTICE OF CONTEST United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Notice of Contest. To: Marion Jepson, Le-land Haws, R. II. Mitchell, Contest 10458, against Thunder-bird No. 1-4, lode mining claims described as being within sec. 1, T. 35 S., R. 6 E., SL Mer.; Allen B. Sorensen, A. E. Lentz, Contest 10464, against Vulcan No. 148, lode mining claims described as being within sees. 27, 34, and 35, T. 34 S., R. 6 E., and sec. 3, T. 35 S., R. 6 E., SL Mer.; M. O. Sedden, A, W. Pollock, Contest 10465, against M & M No. 1-17, lode mining claims described as being within sec. 12, T. 35 S., R. 0 E., SL Mer.; Reed Jepson, Contest 10466, against Bab 1-9, lode mining claims described as being within sec. 3a, T. 34 S., R. 6 E., SL Mer., Utah. You, and each of you, your heirs, representatives, and assigns, are hereby notified that the United States of America has instituted a contest pursuant to 43 CFR 1852, and Title 30 US-CA, section 40, against those certain mining claims set forth above situated in the County of Garfield, State of Utah. A Complaint has been filed by the United States of America requesting that said mining claims be invalidated and declared null and void on the charge that: (1) the land involved is nonmineral in character. (2)' no discovery of valuable minerals has boen made in the above described mining claims. The contests are pending in the Land Office, Bureau of Land Management, Federal Building.Salt Lake' City, Utah; Unless an answer to the complaint is filed in such office within thirty (30) days after the last date of publication of this Notice, the allegations of the complaint will be taken as confessed and the contests will be decided without a hearing. This Notice Avill be published on the following dates, to wit: October 27, Nov. 3, 10, 17 and 24, 1966 being at least once a week for 30 days.
