Show TROPIC TOPICS ELLA ADAIR Luclla Mangum, the James Munsons and the Urscl Otts attended funeral services for Gus Hoakenson, husband of Elpha Ott Hoakensen, at Salt Lake. Geraldine Stratton of Cedar City visited her sister Del Rae Pollock on Monday. David Millctt, Verdella Niel-son, A. II. Smith, Peggy Pollock Palmer and Danny Brink-erhoff had birthdays last week, Elizabeth Barton had her daughter Dorene and family of Montana as visitors for a few days this week. The Joseph Johnson reunion was held at Pine Lake last weekend. The Loram Pollocks had sons Sherrcll, Delon, Woodruff and Varsel, and their families as visitors last week. The Eldon Brinkerhoffs, the Malcn and the Dave Mechams, the LaMar Shakcspears, Eliza betli Barton, Shirley Haycock, Lydia Pollock, Ramona Millett and the Adrian Pollocks were all in Richfield last week. Bishop and Mrs. Clive Bybee, the Vernal Shakcspears and the Weldon Sudwceks attended temple sessions in St. George this past weekend. Ramona Millett and Glenna Pollock attended funeral services in Fredonia last week for a friend of Ramona's. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Shake-spear and the Owen Shakes-pears attended funeral services for their sister Effie's husband in Richfield. The Alton Shakespears, Agnes Littlefield, Wallace Otts, Charley Wintchs, and Mabel Ott attended the Johnson reunion Saturday. Afton and Dale Peterson and family are visiting Thelma Jol-ley. Thelma attended temple sessions with her son Doyle and fiancee. Max Stewart and fiancee were home for the weekend. Mrs. Fisher and daughter of Orderville and Mavis Shakes-pear were here to hear Kay Barton's mission report Sunday. David Pollock left for induction into the army Tuesday, a farewell party was held for him Saturday. We have had two wonderful rainstorms this past week. The Lynn Bartons spent the weekend in town. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Adair visited the Arnold Adairs Sunday, Larry is attending CSU. Arnold and Ward Excell spent a few days this week fishing on Boulder Mt. Mrs. Irene Johnson had a visit from her brother and his wife this week. The Beehive classes held graduation exercises and a program in church Tuesday night. The Mclvin Beards are now living in Minneapolis where he is employed as an electri-cal engineer. |
