Show The Word From Boulder ALICE ALVEY LeFair Hall went to Cedar City Wednesday on business. Mrs. Harrison took her daughter Nancy to the doctor Thursday for a checkup. Renon and Emeron Peterson took daughter Cindy to a doctor in Richfield to have her eyes checked. Kay Coombs took his wife and baby to Panguitch to the doctor for their checkups. Jim and Alene Haws went to Rlch-tield to the dentist recently. Otto and Idona Haws went to Panguitch to see the doctor, they also went to Salt Lake to a BLM meeting. On the way home they stopped In Orem and visited her sister and husband, tho Owen Wooleys. Dale Clarkson went to Panguitch and on up to Logan where he spent several days on business. Blom Ormond took Dale's wife Pat to Orem to meet him. Richard and Marilyn Griffin went to a bull sale in St. George. Jackie and Blom Ormond went to Panguitch to get their truck worked on. Vern and Emma Jane Hansen were in Richfield for a few days visiting relatives. Reeves Val Moos-man left on the 22nd for Fort Sill, Okla. where he is stationed in the Army. Burns and Carter Ormond, with Jess Steel of Colorado, caught three cougars, they turned one loose, Carter shot one, and they brought the other one home alive. Klea Grien-er had a party at her home on the 19th after the Gold and Green Ball. Mr. Seeley was in town a few days on business. Vickey and Dan Coleman are proud parents of a baby girl born on the 22nd, they also have two little boys. Burns and Blom Ormond, Cecil and Alice Alvey 6.nd LeFair Hall were guests at a surprise birthday party for Obe Wright on tho 27th. Farlan and Lorraine Be-hunln were here visiting his parents, the Max Behunins. Bill Griffin came from Escalante and replaced some bricks that were blown out of the corners of Cecil Alvey's home. The speakers In Sacrament meeting Sunday were Neta Poulson and Uvon Roundy on the 20th. A film, on the early days of St. Geoge was shown on Sunday, the 27th. We got .13" of moisture last week. Wo still have plenty of mud. |
