Show Good Healthy Exercise But Murder On The Pins MEN'S LEAGUE March 2nd saw us wind up our league activities for the winter league. As was predicted Bill's Texaco wrapped the championship trophy although they lost their last 8 games. Brooklawn was 2nd, Richfield Coca Cola and Phillips 66 tied for 3rd, and the 89ers and Conoco rounded out the standings. High rollers this night were Ike LeFevre with 209 and Don Liston 205. High game for the League was Pat Dix with 223, Pat also took high series honors at 548 and. led average wise with a 159" final average. Kent Mcln-elly who rolled the full 60 games on the schedule took total pin honors with a high of 9385. Our league had a total of 14 200's or better rolled. Don Liston had 3, Kent Mcln-elly, Dennis Davis and Pat Dix each had two, and Ike LeFevre, Jack Soper, Glen Leach, Gary Orton and Doug Talbot had one each. We commence our ten week spring league this coming Wednesday at 8 p.m. and invite all bowlers interested in ' V ''i "' participating to get In touch with Pat Dix, League secretary. LADIES LEAGUE Ladles League standing for this week are: Panguitch Drug, won 40, Cameron Motel 36V4, Panguitch Bowl 31, Flying M end State Bank tied with 30, Tebbs Jewelry 22. The high game bowled for the week was Sharon Stapley with 218, 2nd Nlda Mae Jensen 179, and Coleen Orton 175. High scries was Sharon Stapley with 466, Nlda Mae Jensen 463 and Barbara Orton 454. Reporter, Nlda Mae Jensen BOWLING MIXED LEAGUE Saturday saw another shake- up in league standings as Panguitch Bowl took 3 out of 4 from Flying M Cafe while Phillips 66 was droppig 3 to R. J. Excell Co. Panguitch Bowl now takes over 2nd place by one game and remain 1 game behind front runners Mobil Oil. Top Bowlers for the evening were Pat Dix with 202, followed by Ron Burton at 197, and Ike LeFevre at 191. On the distaff side it was LaVenda Moore with 144, Phyllis Mclnelly 139, and Ada LeFevre 138. High series was rolled by Pat Dix with 536, followed by Ron Burton at 522. Pat leads the bowlers with a 164 average, Donna Hubbard carries high aveiage for the ladies with 145. LADIES LEAGUE The Ladies League for the week of Feb. 24th has Panguitch Drug in 1st place with 38 games won, Cameron Motel 2nd with 36V4, Panguitch Bowl 29, State Bank 29. Flying M 27, Tebbs Jewelry 21. The high game for the week was Mary Barney with 162, Gwen Crofts 2nd with 149.
