The Ira LJttlefields have a new grandson born to the James Beattys of Hurricane. The Geo. Wilsons have a new granddaughter born to Jim and Con- nie Robinson in Kanab. The Better Homes Club members and their partners had a Sweetheart Party Saturday evening at the Scout House. The Roland Durfecs spent the weekend in Las Vegas. Saturday, 25 children from our ward attended a baptisi-mal service in the St. George Temple. The Joseph Aliens spent the weekend In Richfield with Rhq-da's sister and family. The Ward Excells spent the weekend in Springdale. Laura Cottarri and Carol Ad-dair spent the weekend with their parents, Laura went on to Escalante to visit awhile. Joe Ott of Kanab and Mrs. Fae Ott and family of Cedar City visited Mabel Ott Sunday. At the annual meeting of the Tropic and East Fork Irrigation stock holders Feb. 14, the following board was elected: Vernal Shakespear, president; Larvin Pollock, v. pres.; Jack Chynoweth, 2nd v.tpres.; Alton Shakespear, secretary. Twenty-two members of the FHA, accompanied by Mrs. Ella Adair, advisor, Miss Teckla Blackmore, student teacher, ' and chapter mothers, Mrs. Mae Twitchell, Mrs. Grctha Twitch-ell, Mrs. Shanna Gouldlng, Mrs. Mary Rich are attending the annual State convention at Salt Lake this week; 5 chapter members are applying for State Homemaker degrees. |
