The first of last week Mr. and Mrs. James Burrows visited in Cedar City. They spent Thanksgiving day in Frcdonia with the Max Burrows family, the Cal Burrows of Kanab visited them Sunday. The David Sawyers had as Thanksgiving dinner guests the T. II. and the Nile Sawyers from here, the Robert Palmers of Nevada who stayed to visit a few days, and the Roy Shake-spears of Tropic. Saturday the David and the T. II. Sawyers visited in Glendalc. Enjoying Thanksgiving at the Oliver Huntlngtons were the Karl Lowders, the Elgen Sawyers, from Panguitch were the Pat Dix family, and Jess Lowder from Cedar. Thanksgiving day visitors at the Gale Wilcocks were Mrs. Lamond Davis and children and Linda Faye Talbot of Panguitch, Norman and Alyce Henderson. Sunday evening Evan Wil-cock was the speaker in Alton in Sacrament meeting. The Gale Wilcocks, Dayne and Ralph accompanied him to the meeting. Evan will give his missionary report In our ward Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. The .Arnold Sawyers and the Vay Sawyers of Salt Lake arrived Friday to spend the weekend here, Verda stayed to take care of things here. The Philip Robertsons of Alton visited Saturday with the Cloyd Campbells. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Turek spent Thanksgiving day. in Cedar with the Wynn Tureks, then Wynn and family visited here during the weekend. The Wiley Huntlngtons were holiday guests at the Allen Huntlngtons in Kanab. Guests at the Garth Heaps for Thanksgiving were the Ronald Sawyers and Mr. and Mrs Don Heap of Cedar and the Calvin Wilsons. Friday Mrs. Heap and Mrs. Wilson and children visited the M. II. Barn-hursts in St. George and reported that Mr. Barnhurst was feeling a little better. The Phil Burrows family spent Thanksgiving with the William Tates in Mt. Carmel. Spending Thanksgiving day at the Bob Evans home were the Irving Johnsons of Can-nonville. At the Frank Barneys were the Gordon Barneys and Fer-rill Barney. The LaMar Barneys spent the holidays in SpringviUe at the Sherman Camerons. The Osmyn Deuels spent the holiday in Ordervllle at the Garn Blackburns and again on Saturday to visit the Francis Simons family of McCammon, Idaho; Jilcne Simons visited the Deuels for a few days. The Jesse Wilsons of here and Wayne of St. George met at the Ferril Lazenbys in Mt. Pleasant for Thanksgiving dinner and visited there with Virginia Wilson of Salt Lake and the Richard Wilsons of Hurricane. They stopped in Richfield to visit Mr. Wilson's mother, Mrs. Rebecca Wilson who is ill. The Orlas Riggs spent the holiday in Granger with the Leslie Footes and visited several days at Salt Lake and vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Henderson and Dennis visited several days at Salt Lake. Norman Henderson is working for Whitings in Fredonia, Alyce visited several days in Kanab with the Jay Duttons. The Jay and the Homer Duttons visited during the weekend with Mrs. Marcie Dutton, she has now gone to Cedar City for the winter. The Kilburn Wilson family visited Friday at Salt Lake. . Enjoying Thanksgiving at the Grant Daltons were the Gib Clarks of Kanab, and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans. Mrs. Sessle Clark of Ordervllle arrived Friday to visit the Evans' after spending a week in Spanish Fork; Mrs. Delln Crofts and sons of Panguitch visited Saturday at the Evans' home. The Dalven Sawyers of Cedar City were Thanksgiving visitors at the Arthur Sawyers. Spending Thanksgiving at the Eric Barnhursts were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wilcock and daughter of Provo. Thanksgiving dinner guests at the Leland Riggs home were Mrs. Effel Riggs, the Cloyd Campbells, Gary and Nelda Fagg, the Russell Wilsons, and from Salt Lake were the Kay Alexanders, Mrs. Ladd Holt and children; tho Jay Mlckel-sens of Nephl, the Forrest Hills of Gunnison, and the' Philip Robertsons of Alton. The Alexanders, Clerice Hill and the Holts stayed to visit several days. The Earl Sawyers spent Thanksgiving at Lyman with the Oscar Taylor family. Thanksgiving guests at the J. E. Riggs were two daughters of the Wallace Heaps of Cedar and Frances, Dale and Diane Porter. Little Sharla Heap is feeling better and they expect her to come home during the week. |
